The Doohickeys consists of singing and writing duo Haley Spence Brown & Jack Hackett. Haley hails from Liberty, Missouri, where she spent her childhood training horses and helping on her grandpa’s cattle farm. Jack grew up in a strict Japanese-American household in Atlanta, Georgia where you had to take your shoes off at the door (everything else was pretty lax).

These country wordsmiths bring a humorous twist to their unique brand of country music—an intentional mix of traditional and contemporary styles, laced with clever jokes and just the right amount of stupidity. Although they might seem to be twisted country punsters on the surface, they’re that and so much more.
